Privacy notice

When you create an account, we process your email address and the information needed to sign you in. If you use Google sign-in, Google supplies the information needed to authenticate your account. Account features may also store your display name, followed games, notification preferences, achievement progress, and platform usernames you choose to save. You enter platform usernames yourself; saving one does not connect VEER to your PlayStation or Xbox account.

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, selected inquiry category, subject, and message. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

To help prevent contact-form spam, we record a protected identifier based on your email address, the hour of your submissions, and submission counts. The identifier helps us recognize repeat submissions and is not fully anonymous. These spam-prevention records do not include your message, name, or IP address. Our email providers and inboxes process your correspondence separately.

We use this information to provide account features, save your preferences and progress, respond to inquiries, maintain the website, and prevent abuse. Account emails help you verify access or recover your account. You can save preferences for content alerts, but VEER is not currently sending editorial email updates. Account emails and replies to inquiries are separate from editorial alerts.

VEER uses Lovable Cloud and its underlying Supabase services for hosting, account and database features. Contact messages pass through Lovable's connected Resend email service and are delivered to VEER's Google Workspace inboxes. These providers process information needed to provide their services. Sending a contact message does not subscribe you to editorial emails.

The website loads fonts and may display videos or images from other providers. Those requests can disclose technical information such as an IP address and browser information to the provider. Embedded players and external websites have their own privacy practices. Choosing Google sign-in also involves Google's services.

VEER operates in the United States. Using the website from another country can involve processing your information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws can differ between countries. Contact us if you need information about a particular provider or how your information is handled.

Browser storage supports sign-in and site preferences. Blocking or clearing it may sign you out or reset preferences.

VEER's optional visitor analytics is disabled for the initial launch. We will review this notice and the available visitor controls before introducing optional traffic tracking.

VEER's optional error and performance reporting is currently disabled. Our hosting and authentication providers may still process technical requests and operational logs to run and protect their services. Those provider operations continue even while VEER's optional reporting is disabled.

Third-party advertising is currently disabled. We will update this notice before introducing advertising or additional tracking.

You can manage available profile and notification settings in your account. Reader accounts also have a deletion option, which may require you to sign in again. Staff account deletion is handled through support. Contact messages and operational records are managed separately from account data. Deleting an account does not necessarily remove existing correspondence or copies held by providers or in backups immediately.

Spam-prevention records become eligible for deletion once they are more than 24 hours old. Cleanup runs in limited batches when later contact submissions are checked, so records may remain longer if no new submissions arrive or a backlog remains. This does not delete contact emails from inboxes or email-provider records.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact support@veerworld.com. We may need to verify that the information belongs to you. Your rights and any lawful exceptions depend on your circumstances and applicable law.
